      You won’t find many entertainers that are musically charming, capable of warming your heart and lighting up the stage like saxophonist Dustin Bear. Taking songs you already know and love, he uses his smooth sax sound and artistry to perform your favorites like you’ve never heard them before. Influenced by his mid-western roots, he combines Jazz, Pop, Latin, Broadway, R&B and even a bit of Country music in his arrangements to create a new performance style unique to his own. As a seasoned performer, Dustin loves sharing his talent with the audience and nothing is more rewarding to him than seeing you tapping your feet and dancing up out of your seat cheering for more!       Well traveled and world-renowned, Dustin’s many credits include opening up for Earth Wind and Fire, Phil Collins and Lionel Ritchie. He has appeared with major celebrities including William Schaffner, Bruce Springsteen’s saxophonist Clarence Clemons, American Idol’s Kimberly Locke, and many other top artists such as Michael Brecker, Arturo Sandaval, Poncho Sanchez, and Jerry Bergonzi. Dustin has played in jazz festivals internationally including the Ocho Rio Jazz Festival in Jamaica, the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and The North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. He has also played for the Miami Heat Basketball Team and has been recorded on numerous albums. Dustin has entertained audiences all over the world from Europe to Asia, South America to the Caribbean and all over the USA.

     Growing up in small town Iowa, Dustin learned the saxophone from his grandfather at a young age. His exposure to music was nothing short of extensive as he started performing in local bands at the age of 8 and has been playing professionally since the age of 13. Dustin went on to receive his bachelor of music degree at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Currently traveling and performing all over the world, each year Dustin takes time to return to his hometown and performs a benefit concert in sponsorship towards helping young artists and musicians.
